AIR LIQUIDE NIGERIA
Air Liquide Nigeria Plc is a subsidiary of Air Liquide Group.
The 25th January, 1960 “Port Harcourt Gas Producers Ltd” was incorpored in Air Liquide Group as a subsidiary.
In 1966 its name change to “Gas Producers Ltd” and the office and factory move to Okehi Street in Port Harcourt.
In 1991 it acquired Gas and Welding Ltd which was a gas Company located at Matori in Lagos.
In 1992 it changed its name to Air Liquide Nigeria Plc, with the commissioning of 38 tons per day gas production plant in 1999 in Port Harcourt the company repositioned itself as a leader in the production and sale on industrial and medical gases in Nigeria.
The production facilities are :
- Oxygen re-fill stations in Lagos, Jos, Warri and Onitsha.
- Gaseous refilling units for Oxygen, Nitrogen , Argon and Argon mixtures in Port Harcourt.
- Acetylene production plants in Lagos, Jos and Port Harcourt.
Air Liquide Nigeria is ISO 9001 : 2000.
In 2006, Air Liquide Nigeria implement the Industrial Management System.
